Hi, I'm Peder.
An estate plan only helps if you understand it and your family can carry it out. I build plans that do both.
I’ve watched people I love inherit plans that were too complicated. No one fully understood them, so no one followed through. It made a painful time harder.
That’s why I started Jacobson Estate Law. Real life is messy and unpredictable. A good plan holds up anyway. It’s built to be carried out, not to look impressive on paper.
My background is in physics and mathematics. Both taught me that the real skill isn’t making things complicated. It’s making complicated things clear.
Outside the office, you’ll find me working out, barbecuing, fishing, or playing the violin. Mostly, I’m with my wife, Stephanie, and our two kids. They’re a big part of why this work matters to me.
